What makes a favorite?

We all have our favorite stories from our childhood. For some it may have been the Little Golden Book classics, or Winnie the Pooh, or Dr. Seuss. It may have been the illustrations that you loved, or the rhyming words. But I think what makes a story stand out, and stay with us, is whether or not it inspires us. Did the story make you want to be brave, or kind, or adventurous? Did it open up your mind to new ideas, new thoughts, new dreams? Were the characters heroic? Did they overcome great odds and achieve great things?

Children deserve to be inspired. My goal as a children’s author is to write fun and fascinating stories that teach our children valuable life lessons. To write and share these stories for children is a privilege and a joy.
